Terms of Service

1. Using ChattyPost

• You may use ChattyPost to schedule and post content to your linked social media accounts.
• You are responsible for the content you post. Ensure it complies with platform rules (e.g., Instagram, TikTok) and applicable laws.

2. Posting Limits

To comply with platform API guidelines, ChattyPost enforces the following daily posting limits per user:

• Instagram: 100 posts per instagram account per day
• Facebook: 25 posts per facebook account per day
• TikTok: 15 posts per tiktok account per day
• YouTube: 6 posts per youtube account per day

Posts that exceed the daily limit for a platform will be required to be scheduled to a different date.

3. Billing, Upgrades & Downgrades

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Upgrades: When you upgrade to a higher plan mid-cycle, you are charged a prorated amount today — that is, only the difference in price for the remaining days in your current billing period. Your billing cycle resets to the date of the upgrade.
• Downgrades: When you switch to a lower plan, no charge is made immediately. You continue to enjoy your current plan's full benefits until the end of your existing billing period. The new (lower) plan pricing takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
• All prices are listed in USD. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.
• To cancel your subscription, you may do so at any time via your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again, and no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

4. Account Responsibility

• Keep your login information secure.
• You may unlink your accounts at any time.
• You are responsible for any activity under your account.

5. Content

• You retain ownership of your content. By using ChattyPost, you grant the app permission to post content on your behalf.
• ChattyPost may process content to generate suggested captions, tags, or other enhancements only upon your request.
• For content posted to YouTube, you are responsible for updating your video's metadata in YouTube Studio to disclose any AI-generated or altered content, as the YouTube API does not currently support setting this disclosure programmatically.

6. Deletion & Retention

• Posted content is retained for 30 days after publication.
• Scheduled content is managed according to our Privacy Policy.
• Chat history is not currently saved between sessions. In a future update, chat history will be stored and users will be able to delete it at any time.
• Users may delete their content or their entire account at any time.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use ChattyPost to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Post harmful, abusive, or infringing content
• Spam, scrape, or otherwise abuse social media platforms

8. Limitation of Liability

• ChattyPost is provided "as-is."
• We are not responsible for social media platform outages, data loss, or third-party actions.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms occasionally. The latest version will be posted at chattypost.app/terms.
• Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
